There’s something about fall that always draws me in—the way the colors seem to have a life of their own, the crispness in the air, the way everything feels both fleeting and timeless at the same time. As I stood there, taking in the view, I wanted to capture not just what I was seeing, but what I was feeling.
The city was alive with movement—people going about their day, cars passing by—but there was also a sense of calm, a peacefulness that comes with the season. I decided to try something different with my shot, to layer the image in a way that reflected the layers of experience and history that make up Grenoble. The result is this dreamlike blend of colors and shapes, a moment that feels both specific and universal.
Looking at the image now, it brings me back to that exact moment—the cool air, the golden light, the quiet hum of the city. It’s a reminder of how much beauty there is in the everyday, if we just take the time to notice it. And for me, that’s what photography is all about—capturing those fleeting moments of beauty, and making them last.
